I figured I should start off with a little about me. My name is Amanda. I’m originally from West Virginia but moved to Ohio when I married my best friend, Ricky. I am doing what I love to do… graphic design and photography. I’m the youngest of three kids and a daughter to the greatest mom and dad in the world. I’m the proud Aunt to seven nephews and five nieces. I love old movies, my favorite being Top Hat and I’m a sap for movies such as You’ve Got Mail and The Notebook. Though I have no ability to sing or play music I love it. Classic jazz, Louie Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Adele sing my heart’s melody.

I grew up a tomboy and I was grooming myself to play college basketball until I broke my collarbone in a game and wasn’t able to get the game back that I had. I was homeschooled from 6^th – 12^th grade. I begged my mom to teach me… school wasn’t a good fit for me. I was dyslexic and had attention deficit disorder. Thankfully and by the grace of God I have out grown both for the majority. I’ll still catch it every once in a while. Numbers are my worst… give me a set of numbers and I guarantee you I’ll mix ‘em up and I’m pretty good at not paying attention in the times when I should… but hey no ones perfect… right?!

I love family. I love my family and I love Ricky’s family. The older I get the more my heart creates love for them. I am so thankful to the Lord for the wonderful family that He has given me. My family is the kind that no matter what you are going through they are there loving and cheering me on. I simply couldn’t do anything without them.
